WHAT IS GITEX?
GITEX (“Gulf Information Technology Exhibition“) is an annual consumer computer and electronics trade show, exhibition, and conference that takes place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Its exhibitions in the Middle East have attracted numerous participants.
The show was launched in 1981 as GITE and occupied Hall One of the Dubai World Trade Centre.[4] With the launch of MacWorld at the 1988 show, GITEX expanded to two halls of the exhibition centre. For some years it has now filled the entire DWTC complex, currently consisting of 10 exhibition halls comprising a million feet of exhibition space.
It is the ideal occasion for celebrating the most recent developments and discoveries, bringing together tech enthusiasts, world leaders, innovators, budding entrepreneurs, and interested audiences eager to learn in-depth information about the items on display in the tech industry.
GITEX Global 2022
This year, at GITEX Global 2022, the Start-Up Participation will be over 800, and there will be around 4,000 exhibitors. There will be close to 1000 speakers who are global experts from more than 170 countries who have consented to attend.
